Wear Your Love

Drape your love like a scarf over one’s throat

Cover the delicate skin, let it loose freely.

Wear it like a necklace, holding precious gems

Close to your chest, near to your heart.

Let love unfold on you like a beloved shirt

Sliding down and sitting comfortably.

Let love be your favorite sandals,

Leather gliding onto your feet.

Be clothed in love, and clad in understanding.

For without love, we are naked

In our own despair and hate.
