Takes her side by the fire

Nurses her ideas

Before she directs them away

She breaks the mirror of monotony

Sending shards to faraway places

And reduces the soul to grace

In a glittering fragment

She sighs deeply

Her exhalation a question mark

Of what’s right and wrong

To the ever questing

She has an answer

But it’s hidden in her smile

Disguised in her laughter

As she pulls you upright

You know better

And put knowledge to good use

Using a piece of broken mirror

And breathing quietly
