Production

I am not a project;

I am a person

And this is my work.

I produce things.

I produced a career.

I produced a child,

Who is now an adult.

I produce pictures.

I produce words.

In a little while

I’ll produce dinner.

My life is a production,

Filled with characters

That come and go in time.

When the curtain closes,

When the production ends,

I will simply be,

And my products carry on.

But for now I’m a factory,

Producing and working.

Churning out things

That will have their use

Sometime.
